Ordinary People Doing Ordinary Things

I just liked it...not particularly "science-y" (although there are some people I've mentioned in class) - I guess the message is to keep trying - never give up.

all i can say to this is OH MY GOSH!!! i would have never guessed that some of the very well known people that were mentioned in this video were faced with some very hard times of their lives. if i were in some of their situations i would have given up... the one that sticks on my mind the clearest was the man who founded Wal-Mart. he was training at JC pennys for like i think it said $46 a month...but later on he founded wally world!!! that was amaizing!!! omg i just really want to give them a pat on the back because i think they are the ones that us foolish kids need to keep in our hearts, the ones who really dont let anything get in their way or bring them down! that was great. i think one of the things i think that would have been the best to be them is i could tell those idiots off who thought i would get no where in life with a dream i had! and one last thing, how could you get kicked out of school for asking too many questions?!?!?!?!?!? i think that was stupid!!! cuz now-a-days the teachers are always encouraging us students to ask "too many questions"...who ever kicked that man out of school is a big doofus!!!! =) hehe

All i can really say to this is, wow! It amazes me how lives that we look at to be so ordinary, can turn the world around for the better, one hard working, ordinary person at a time. This makes me want to go out and do something good =) lol. I agree with Lindsey, that whole, "Getting kicked out of school for asking to many questions" that one made my mouth drop.

And one last note, i love that song. Kelly's amazing.

Wow, I had no clue what these people went through before they became successful. This was very inspiring. Makes me feel like things that haven't came through to me don't really matter, but yeah very interesting video.

I had no idea that people can go this far by just not doing anything. what i mean is that Einstein didn't have ANY degrees from college, and he yet is considered the smartest person ever born on Earth. I don't mean to say that learning is not important or anything, I am just saying that some people have some god-given gifts that some people don't understand.

thats so inspiring! i knew about j.k. rowling and neil armstrong. the other ones were.. hmmm whats the word... enlightening! and getting kicked out of school for asking too many questions? i bet that teacher felt really stupid when he invented the lightbulb! ( i wonder what cartoonists used to show someone had an idea before then!?)

I believe this is a very inspirational video that shows that we can do anything that we set our minds to. My favorite part was also the man the founded wal-mart. I think he has a very informational story that more people should know about. I mean $46 dollars a month is next to nothing. He must have had a lot of determination. Clear eyes, Full hearts, Can't lose.

Wow. This is one of the most inspirational videos I have ever seen. The WalMart one was eye-bulging. $46? Isn;t he a billionaire now? That's just wow. I already knew about J.K. Rowling... I never knew Edison was *kicked out* of school. Don't teachers encourage questions?

This is a really inspiring video, especially for those who want to start a new job or try a new idea. One that I particularly thought was funny, was Thomas Edison, who was kicked out of school because he asked too many questions. And I would never have guessed that the founder of Wal-Mart worked at JCPenney's. One more thing, the music really fits with the video =D

I really liked this video. It was really suprising to know that the founder of walmart worked at J.C Pennys and I think it is about working hard and you will succeed in life.

I also agree with many of the comments on this page

people can get famous without even accomplishing anything

All I can say is try to do your best and you will defenitely succeed in life.

(Ya thats not going to happen)
But my luck to anyone out there to try it.Luke, Austin, Jake, Elyes and most importantly cedric..........
