Well, that gummy bear itself looked pretty spicy hot. I wonder how it wwould taste like. I am guessing it would, or might be burnt, or at least maybe a little. Why don't we actually try anything as dangerous as that. It would be pretty kool, if you ask me. Gummy bears taste pretty good before being burnt. So, what do you think it would actually taste like?!?!?!
i agree jake,i think we should do something like this and then let it cool for a whole day then we can get jake to try it!!! YA!! that would be so much fun then i would really look foreward to the next day of school! actually my question is what the heck did that dude at the begining put in/on the gummy bear to make it react like that?!?!?!?!?! oh well cu tomorrow MRS> Q!!! If I remember correctly (it's been awhile), they put potassium permanganate in the test tube with the gummy bear. The potassium permanganate reacted with the sugar in the gummy bear and produced the flame.
Burning is a chemcial reaction and sugar is a compound, after all.
